Is it worth it to wait for PS3?

I have current XBOX and am thinking about buying a 360 but i dont know it is worth it to wait for PS3 will it be that much better for NBA Live? cuz thats all i play

probably not right away. wait a year or 2 for it. the PS3 will need a bit of time to iron out the bugs.

For me, Current Gen look like it plays better!! I'm gonna buy a Live for the Ps3 hoping they fixed some stuff (If the game turns out to be bad). But I will be getting current gen for the Ps2. Cause It's 06 with a lot of improvements, and I didn't mind 06

im leaning towards buying Live 07 for Current gen... mostly cuz its cheap... but then i will have to give next gen 07 and 2k7 a try at my friends houses and decide which one of the 2 im going to go for when i upgrade to my 360 or ps3... I have to admit 2K6 was way better than live 06 on next gen... But that could easily have changed in 07...

SO AS OF NOW... IM GOIN FOR CURRENT GEN 07!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting the PC version. That's a definate, but like you elitethatsme, I feel that I will give in to the promise of next gen soon.

I too don't know whether to wait for the PS3 or to go for the 360 now? Anyone have any good comparasins? I've heard that the PS3 will be far superior............... but who knows by how much?

Is next gen even on Ps3? Cause on the EA Sports site they don't have Live on the Ps3on the Available on these consoles section

there are a lot of rumors of EA revamping their next-gen games to be better on PS3 than on xbox 360.

if i was into console gaming i'd wait till all the versions are released.

yea they have given a release date for the ps3 version, sometime in november

really as far as Live is concerned, i have decided to wait till ps3 comes out and then try it out........ But from what i have seen it looks shitty and if i do get next gen ill prolly get 2k7... But i am going to get Live for Current Gen

Good point, live has shown us in the past with PS2... It will take a few years before they get it even close to enjoyable... I think 2004 was the first year Live started to compete with the 2K series on the ps2/xbox so maybe we will have to wait a similar amount of time untill tehy fix it up for ps3/360

If you have or plan on buying a next gen system I would advise that you go with the 2k series, now I'm a diehard Live fan and do plan on buying Live for the PS2 but at least judging from the videos that i've seen 2k7 seems to play A LOT more realistically and is visually just as pleasing as Live 07 on the next gen systems.
