graphics not that great but honestly i dont care as long as it plays good... Still kinda too cartoony... but u it IS a video game lol so i dont mind, as long as it plays good!!!!!!!
Im glad current gen just focused on gameplay, im goin with current gen i think its a no brainer...

current gen actually has the advantage in terms of cyberfaces and headshapes even without being patched. in the next gen version, even some star players are almost unrecognizable.

^^It's because in current gen, they rely more on the texture of the player than the actual geometry of his face........ that means, most players have a very basic facial shape, nose, mouth, cheeks etc. without much detail, but with a photo texture projected onto it. This is why the current gen models looks cartoonish, but do have a decent likeness to the real life counterparts.
Next gen, due to the level of detail, has to actually have higher res geometry, so less photo projection, more of a mould of the players actual face..................... much harder to achieve a decent likeness for 300 odd players.

it seems that they brought back the old lightning from nba live 2005. everything else looks pretty much the same...
funny how the graphical improvement of this version is bringing back something from 2 years ago rofl!
it's also very annoying to read their statements about them reaching the ceiling on current-gen system programming when every other sports franchise (whether it's from EA or not) has somewhat improved their physics or graphical engine a little bit.

well , it seems to me that this year's game is no different than last year's. I hope that they've made all the gameplay features like in the next gen, but i still can't figure this out - how the f... is the PC a current gen ?

It's a pitty, that they didn't fix players' arms going through the ball and other players' bodies and bent knees going through the shorts. We're probbably able to dunk through the backboard aswell.
Hopefully they fixed the stat problems from 06 (a deflected pass going out of bounds=defenders TO, a blocked shot doesn't count as a block, a blocked layup=two missed attempts, etc.)
The dynasty update and the gameplay better be good...

its too bad they cant take a graphical improvement from, shit, 7 years ago....Live 2000 had real-time lighting/shadows in it... I dont know why they got rid of it.

its cos the engine that nba live developers created is shit
they haven't been economical enough with processor time, they've made the croud slightly 3D, wat a waste of time... i never look at the croud
