he is bald in real life..he changed his hair style to a buzz cut.

This is the 1st Time EVER, I ever had something negative to say about NBA Live. I just don't think they worked hard on the overall gameplay for this one. The movies speak for itself. If you are too blind to believe that then that's your fault.

I'm a Live loyalist too. I never actually bought a 2k game in my life. I'm more disappointed in how horrible this game looks. I don't give a damn how you spend YOUR money. I don't benefit from either of these gaming companies so I could give a shit less about fanboys and the game war. It's corny....beyond corny. All I ask for is a satisfactory simulation, and MY favorite game LIVE, is moving further and further away from that with each gimmick they add to the game. You'd be lying if you said that the Live developers have done EVERYTHING in their power to deliver a great SIMULATION bball title. Why not reserve the SIMULATION option for REAL SIMULATION BASKETBALL and the stupid ARCADE shit for the ARCADE option? All of this FSS stuff is nothing but a new millineium NBA JAM. EA should be embarassed and so should anyone blindly supporting these clowns.

I don't see how they can improve the game that much in just a few weeks, although I hope I'm wrong.

what´s unbeliaveble is that people here, at nbaliveforuns, are really down on the game. that smells like trouble. go to the "rival" forum and see how their fans are expecting the new game.

i just don´t get what´s going on with EA. i mean the producer came from this forum, he loves hoops... still.

The ball physics on the rim are especially unrealistic and need a lot of work.

that isnt a surprise, I just played a game yesterday in 06 where a rebound from a fingerroll landed outside the 3 point line...and its happened in both the PC and 360 versions.

My plan was to shell out $100 US on the 25th (wow we are getting kinda close) and get both the PC and 360 versions. But, even tho I would pay for it, I dont want to spend 60 bucks for an 06 roster update for the 360...

A part of me believes they are really trying to make it realistic, with the ball physics and so on.. but then another part of me actually thinks they have no idea how to impliment it. Coding wise. Its like they only figure out the easy stuff to update yearly, like new jerseys, court design, increasing freestyle move's for 3 years now.

I mean freestyle is cool and all, but there is other aspects of the game that need to be tinkered and revamped. Gameplay wise totally redone from scratch, cause its been the same shocking run and gun style jack up 150 shots pergame kind of game since 03 (lets never speak of live 01 again.. or the "patch")..

The ea team needs new blood, its as simple as that. The current group are just milking the name for all its worth. Thats my $0.02

This whole Live Vs 2K battle reminds me the Fifa Vs PES soccer video game battle.

Fifa has been there for a long time now but since Fifa 2000 they're being incapable of improve correctly the game outside the graphics area. For years, they were treating the game like an arcade one and now they are desperately trying to add simulation aspects to counter the huge PES madness all around the world.

On the contrary, PES put the emphasys on the simulation early on, they improve their game slightly each year without adding any bugs and that's exactly what the fans want. They're buying the game each year because it is really an upgrade.

Since last year, PES is the most played video game despite being simulation oriented just because it's a joy to play period.

i think EA should take note of that and stop messing around with shitty additions like ESPN integration that has nothing to do with the game....
They're losing the battle against 2K...

i mean last year we had the Freestyle Superstar addition, now we have the Super Freestyle Superstar addition..... what we will get next year ???????? Mega Super Freestyle Superstar additions ???? it is ridiculous...

well as long as live is the only basketball game for the pc i can get then i will be a live fan. if the 2k series ever makes it for the pc then i will try it out.
