To Nintendo Gamecube owners

Hey,

I usually post up on the EA forums and I just found out that NBA Live 07 won't be available for the Nintendo Gamecube. I started a petition and I'm asking everyone to please sign it.

Though I doubt releasing it on the Gamecube would prove very profitable in itself, there's such a thing as good customer service, and making people happy so that they come back. That's where the real profit is.

It not releasing on gamecube but is coming on nintendo's new system coming later this year. Nba live 07 will likely come out on nintendo in oct/nov when the system is released.

But Madden 07 will be released for the Gamecube. I don't know about any of you, but I'd rather spend the $50 to buy Live 07 on Gamecube rather than spend the (just a guess on this) $300 on the Wii and then buy the game.

Yeah because the dates are different, by the time Nba Live 07 comes out
so will Wii have been out or will come out so thats why their going to
trash the little box "gamecube", i think its pretty understandable.

Would that mean next year they are going to trash ps2 for NBA Live 08 when the PS3 will be out?

who really cares about the ps2, gamecube, and xbox?
when you got the xbox 360, ps3, and wii........pretty soon no one will care about the last gen systems.............i dont care if they dont release the game on gamecube, its trash anyways, i use it as a doorstop.

The people who can't afford next gen consoles as of yet.

They're like gas, even if you jack up the price people will still pay for it. If they stop making games for the last gen systems eventually people will buy the new ones.

...And I have got conned into doing that... I'm getting my 360 for Xmas. Pity it's like 6 MONTHS AWAY! ah well, it'll be worth it in the end. And I know for sure that I won't be getting that $1000 worth of crap called a PS3. Yes, I am pitching in for it. I'm not one of those spoilt 10 year olds that plays spyro all day. I'm pitching in a fair bit which sucks. CAN'T WAIT!

Yeah, I got a gamecube. . .But I'm buying a 360 before the game comes out. . .I think there are more moves to do on the Ps2 than Gamecube. It seems it's missing a lot of stuff

A petition is unlikely to have much effect since the decision was based on market research and sales figures.

From Bruce's Community Day recap:

I asked the development team flat out why no GC version and the answer was pretty much what I expected. It’s all about the bottom line and looking to the future. The GC version just wasn’t pulling in enough sales to warrant making another version. It’s out sold by the more popular PS2 and X Box versions. Last year was the last live for the GC.
