Yes we do have signature shots. And, we have a lot of them. McGrady, Yao, Bibby, KG, Dirk, Brand, Tayshaun, Pierce, Vince, Nash, Ginobili, Webber, Ray, Camby and the list goes on and on. I couldn’t even count the number of times a programmer has walked by my desk while I was playing with the Suns and laughed at Marion’s shot. “He doesn’t really shoot like that does he? That’s a bug isn’t it?” Nope. It’s exactly how he shoots. All our shots are pretty bang on.

Is it just me or I am seeing an ESRB E10+ rating in the end of that video on Ign? It's not that it's a large matter I am just curious (if that's true) why it would have that rating?

let's just hope they have Adam Morrison's signature shot....given he's in their promotional campaign, surely it must be a gimme....

The signature shots are good...marion/iverson's aren't spot on...but not bad.

Let's hope you can choose one of these signature shots for created players. Or atleast there is a dbf value so PC users can.

I agree....I want The X to shoot like The X, not some genome warrior....

I assume it will be something we can edit in players.dbf. After all, they've had THREEPTSTY there for the three point shootout the last couple of years so my guess is that signature styles during regular gameplay will utilise a similar field (or perhaps the same one).

There is going to be a slightly bigger learning curve for players now. Since you have to learn the release timing for anyone who has a signature shot.

I wasn't really talking PC, it's obvious you guys can dbf edit....I'm talking next gen....there should be the option of shooting style....I hope generic rookies get random shooting styles too....

I watched lots of times the video to see the footplanting technology. Well, it works pretty well, but nothing big. There is another type of sliding now, a bit weird, but hey, I think these guys have put a lot of effort on this game and I won't critizice them for this. But I'm waiting to see more gameplay stuff, and I want a demo on XBOX Live, or maybe I won't buy the game.

the idea is cool, but some of them are wrong. ray allen jumps really high to release the ball. when they said signature jump shots, i thought allen would have his trademark "jumping 50 inches to shoot a 3 shot"

its a shame... but i did like most of them, speacially prince and brand

They did mention working on the height of the jumps at the Community Day, in addition to the shooting form itself.
