Looking forward to...?

Postby thegreatdivide on Thu Aug 17, 2006 10:52 pm

Just curious as to what people are looking forward to in this years game.

Personally Im liking the introduction of the MLE.

I think Im going to enjoy playing with teams like New York...struggling to get chemistry right and now (finally) being able to enjoy the offseason and try to right some wrongs with that cash to spend. ;)

Thats just one thing that I think is going to give this game some more longevity.

What are some other opinions?

As a Dynasty junkie I'm looking forward to the dynasty enhancement. The addition of chemistry and player happiness level will add a new dimension to the dynasty experience - I'm hoping that it will lead to more regular season trades and make everything more exciting. Another thing I'm excited about is the added control over rotations (with the play time manager) and the fact that you have season fatigue to consider during your dynasty. Of course the addition of the MLE is nice as well
And now for something completely different....

as long as gameplay is fine, and additions to Dynasty are always a bonus.

I'm looking forward to what appears to be an enhanced gameplay and Dynasty experience with some nagging issues addressed.

I really like it , because its the " human side " of the team management ... i mean Francis was traded because he didn't had good chemestry with his temmates ...

as thegreatdivide said , you cant have an stacked roster like new york , now we have more "control" over the team , and thats very nice for me (Y)

I reckon you'll be able to have a stacked roster (to an extent, anyway) so long as you put together a team that can get along with each other. But it seems that a situation like New York - players with talent but no chemistry - will be accurately represented.

Is team chemistry tied into a team's overall rating? So a team like New York who has high rated players, but has no chemistry will have a low team overalll rating. And a team like Detriot, where the players are good, but not great, but their chemistry brings up their overal team rating alot?

From what I saw that won't be the case; a team with a lot of talent and bad chemistry will still have a good overall rating. However, a team with a good overall but lousy chemistry won't live up to that rating. It works the other way as well.
