Problem With Re-doing the 2006 NBA Draft in Dynasty

Lately I've been thinking that a huge problem could exists in the option of redoing the 2006 draft in Dynasty mode. If the guys at EA do not allow us to 1) Swap pick for pick and 2) Make blockbuster draft day trades, this feature will be not nearly half as good as it could be. Randy Foye got traded 2 times this draft! This option should allow you to revamp your roster. So if I am the Raps I could trade my #1 pick and Mo Pete to the sixers for Iguadla and Dalembert (It's just a hypothetical trade, dont start ripping me to shi*s about how impossible, or stupid itd be etc). EA needs to put these options in, because it would allow us to make a big impact very quickly at the beginning of our Dynasty.

...you're already bitching about a 'huge problem' in a new feature (I use the word 'new' lightly- seeing as it's just the same rookie draft that happens before EVERY season, you can just do it before the first season now), in a game that isn't out yet?

Don't listen to the homo's here. You're right it would be a problem, as is trading for draft picks is now in the current game a HUGE problem. For the freakin life of me, I can't trade another team for their 1st round pick for squat, no one EVER agree's, it's just "not interested in trading picks". STFU! And what if i want to trade KG for Chris webber and 2 years worth of 1st round draft picks? I can'tl......we should be able to trade later year picks too! It's just crap and a half and they need to fix it. I love nba live......LOVE IT! despite it's poor play, i've played nba live since 2004...for a year, then i played 2005 year round until 06 came out, and now i havn't stopped playing 06'...until 07' comes out. But please, fix these crappy crappy issues that have plagued the series for YEARS

Yup. And the same goes for negotiation of rookie contracts. You should be able to keep the rights to your second round draft pick until you decide to sign him or let him go. They shouldn't force you to sign him if you draft him and then you find out he stinks when you see his ratings. Do you know how many times I forfited a trade because I didn't want to chance my second round draft selection.

They have worked on the Dynasty mode... This could be one of the new features, that you can do draft day trades. And could be the reason why they have enabled to go through the "off-season" before playing your first season, so they can show off the new "off-season" immediatly.

I'm liking the new stuff related to Dynasty and the gameplay... Especially the dynasty. The players have the happiness bars! Just exactly what I was suggesting last winter.
