Is the xbox current version going to be the same as the ps2?

Why can't ps2 have separate buttons for dunks and lay-ups? The controller has 4 button, just same as the xbox one. So are the 2 versions going to be different? I hope they are the same, since I just saw something good in the interview, such as the new and more free dunkpack system and the right analog thing plus the great number of animations. It'll be good if they are the same except the dunk/lay-up button because Shaq and Yao don't have to fly in the air doing the same dunk with Wade no more. Also if the gameplay sucks there are still cool animation and moves to enjoy.
