On top of that they just give us shitty ports. i love going into option and clicking on a video to watch, only to get a fucking URL to go to. How lazy ass is that??? Then they keep coming out with pc games with no save stats feature, we always have to wait for an update, or have someone not in EA's company to fix that problem. Face it, EA keeps bringing out crap. maybe next year they will fix shit like the cpu walking out of bounds, getting their shot blocked by the rim cause they shoot right underneat the rim, the layups and shots that are behind the backboard, and hopefully next year they can have the computer do something reasonable. Not have a seven footer take a 3 at the end of games, or have someone pass it into the post for a last second shot when they clearly need a 3.sorry i dont buy graphics, i buy shit gameplay, and im tired of ea giving us thier half assed shit.
All hot and bothered... You bitch now, but when they come up with all the nice things they are doing, you'll be a regular lap dog then... Sure we have had game ports from the consoles that have horrible UIs for a PC, but the fact is, that the game has otherwise been entertaining and has kept us occupied for numerous hours...
You bitch and moan about the sliders... Do you know how impossible it is to find settings that will work perfectly for each and every player out there... Impossible... There are about as many ways to play the game as there are players, and thus sliders is actually the best thing that has happened to the game since the introduction of the multi-season mode... I have to agree that some of the sliders have not had enough effect on the gameplay that would have been needed, but they are very good... Some like to play fast paced running game that features a lot of dunks and three pointers etc. flashy plays. Others like to grind the half court... How do you set the sliders that both of these guys would be happy??? Some don't have time to play 12 minute quarters (like me) so its good I can pump up the scoring to get realistic scores etc. with 8 minute quarters... Basically you can now enjoy the game no matter how you play it and you can adjust the challenge of the game when it starts to get too easy for you! And thats the beauty of it... Live 2000 took about 10 games to get the feel for it to win basically every game there after, but now you can make the CPU more dangerous and make yourself work harder...
What seems hard to you, may not be so for other people and what you find too easy etc. might not be as easy for other people... There are other people with different playing styles out there...
As for the "no love for the PC user"... Well the game has a development cycle of 12 months, give or take a few weeks... Thats rough... And they always add something new, which isn't always as easy as it seems... Now they have already promised that the next PC version will more than likely be the next-gen version so thats some love for us... That also means a higher resolution UI that hopefully isn't as awful as the previous 3-4 UIs have been...
Its a game of "hit and miss"... Sometimes they deliver the goods and sometimes they don't... There are always people that will fall in love with the new game and there are always people who will hate it...
I've watching this process for so long, that I no longer have high expectations of the game... As I know it will be entertaining, there will be some improvements and there will Andrew be, doing his excellent work on the roster pathes... That's about all the love I as a PC user will need.
E3 didn't really reveal anything about the game... It revealed that some of the most cried about issues are under the microscope... Like the player sliding for example... But they really didn't reveal anything "new" and people, there is always something NEW!
This may sound like a EA defense speech, but it isn't... I'm just saying that you all negative nellys need to keep your pants on and check out the final product before dropping the hammer of judgement on a game you basically know nothing about!!!
Most of you have been around the block that many times that you ought to know it by now...
