No, NBA Live 07 AIACT files cannot be used with NBA Live 08.

Hey guys,

Haven't been patching much, but I'm sure ill get back into it. I know I uploaded the 3.0 final aiact , but for some reason I wasn't totally satisfied with it. Here's the aiact I've been using for a few months.

This aiact is based on superstar 3.0 but with the following changes.

- Regular outside shot is a fadeaway on a late release.
- pump fake changed to a fakeshot and pass

- shot animations when inside the key have been changed on all Early/REGULAR/LATE Releases. So a variety of hooks, 2 handed shots and floaters can be performed while pressing the same shoot button while inside the key. It all depends on how you relase the shoot button.

- Default pump fake inside the key changed to a spin and to an up-fake. Fakes can be done by lightly tapping the
shot key and changing the direction of the joystick.

- all behind the backboard shot animations have been changed.


let me know what you think I think the inside game is more realsistic with the different typoe of fakes you can perform. If you guys like it, I'll upload it permanently.

bayag your aiact.viv is great,but there is a shot that is not realistic, the reverse dunks of big man or some explosive dunkers,if inside the circle,dunks that they will perform is always a reverse dunk..

thanks..I forgot about that dunk in there...I do like the power dunks, but that reverese is a bit too unrealistic. (Y)

the situation is like this... i created a player with the same attributes of NBA big men. let say Dwight Howard.. even the height and weight is the same.. coz i really want to know what cause for the created player cannot perform a hook shot... but still it didn't.. I'm using this AIACT by bayag.. hook shot is not even a FFS ability in this AIACT.. its a normal shot for bigmen... is there something to press?like i mean pressing "TURBO" and shot? or lay-up?or dunk? some combination of bottons?

Usually hook shots are performed when backing down an opponent, if I recall correctly.

i already figured it out.. the weight and the dribbling skill.. regardless of what height you are your weight should be above 240lbs.. den the dribbling rating should be below 60... then hook-shot is now ready.. :cheeky:

oh there's a qualification about shooting? kindly share that to me sir.. and one more thing, if there's no stats about how many dunks a player did.. do you have an idea how to calculate it? like adding speed and jump? or strength and hardness? coz this 4 contributes to have a power and highflyer FSS... :|

Like I said, it's the same requirements.

The Dunking rating determines a player's likelihood of attempting (and completing) dunks.

Sorry, I just re-read your question and realised that you're referring to how to determine the ratings based on real life. In the absence of any stats (some sites do have listings of the number of dunks by NBA players in a season), you could consider how many times you see players dunking in the highlight reels, their reputation as being a good dunker (or conversely someone who rarely dunks), that kind of thing.

new dunks and post up moves are excellent,, but the jump shot is somehow awkward to watch with.. :|

Thanks for the feedback guys, I had a feeling some people wouldn't like the modified jumpshot , but the original just didn't look right to me. I changed the default jumpshot again to make it closer to the original. it's basically a combination of the big man with the regular jumpshot. Early ,regular and late jumpshot releases are different animations. I tried to make the inside plays more realstic with the added "in the paint" fakes. Hope you guys enjoy..

Additions:

-inside shot changed to a floater.

-inside left changed to an up and under.

-inside right changed to crossover to a fall away right.

-inside fwd changed to a dribble back fake to floater .

-inside big changed to a power hook.

-inside forward changed to an up and under fake to power hook.

-fadeaway interior changed to a layup up to the glass.

-fake forward , left,right, and back will all be seperate animations.

-Majority of dunks and layups were modified to make the game more realistic.

Here's a 1st quarter vid of the gameplay between the '82 Toyota Super Corrollas (PBA) vs. the '63 Boston Celtics.
