Updated rosters for the pc version

I ordered nba live 07 for the pc which i will receive tomorrow and i was wondering how would i be able to get updated rosters for the game? I'm completely new at this i have never played online.

The only updates that are available for the PC are the ones that the community makes. After you download the updates, you just need to place the files in the correct place (databases in the saves folder, art in the sgsm folder) and then load the rosters from the Load/Save menu. Most updates either come with instructions or an installation file that will do everything automatically.

When you say the load saves menu do you mean in the game or the folders or where? Because i downloaded the updates, and moved the files to the folder, but when i go to play the game they still have the same old rosters.

You need to go to the Load/Save Menu under Options and load the custom roster file.

so... after youve downloaded the new roster, then what youll see in the game are completely updated? (like the new boston celtics with their big three as well as any other new trades)

because i just downloaded that patch for live '07 "NLSC NBA Live 07 Current Roster Update" from andrew begley... and i am also brand new to this.

Once you've installed the roster, you'll need to load it from the Load/Save menu. You'll then be able to play with the updated rosters and start a new season/Dynasty with them as well. Note that it won't affect a season or Dynasty that you've already started.
