The game (and in particular, the dunk contest tricks) were designed with a dual analog gamepad in mind, which is why there's limited keyboard support.

yes you can do a 360 on keyboard all you have to do is press C+E (on the three-point line) and C+(any key S,E,D,X,) then while gathering, press down, left,up,right, and down again if you do this perfectly, you can execute a 360 dunk

 WTF???!!!! Or, you could just break down and spend $15 for a PC controller.

themasterhench123's instructions are right, you can also keep using the CTRL and/or Shift to let the spin continue towards 450, 540 and possibly even a 720. I've done the 450 about 4 times already, and I was also able to do a 540 once last year. Sometimes, it really takes a lot of luck besides a lot of practice.

I've tried themasterhench123's instructions and the dunker still misses. I've tried it with all good dunkers:James, Carter, McGrady, Howard etc. I've been practicing for 2 weeks every day and I still can't make it on keyboard. I did a 360 though the legs at my friend's place on a gamepad. Any help for the dunk will be welcome.

Dude, I believe you have the answer right here: Spend $15 (or minimal amount in whatever currency) and get a controller.

you can actually do both, 360 and alley oops. But for alley oops you need a slight modification: you need to change a file, which you can find (C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\NBA LIVE 2005\configs)--->(just look under my documents) then you have to find file keyboard1.kfg(default),or the one you created in a game like (mike.kfg) and open it with notepad and add this at the beginning of the text:
bind K_NUMPAD1 R_UP
bind K_NUMPAD1 R_DOWN
bind K_NUMPAD1 RYAXISCHANGE
bind K_NUMPAD0 R_LEFT
bind K_NUMPAD0 R_RIGHT
bind K_NUMPAD0 RXAXISCHANGE

then just save it.
now you can be able to do alley oops in dunk contest. ( with the 0 and 1 on the numpad), you will also be able to do 2more crossovers in a game with these two keys.
now you can also throw it off the camera of jumbo-screen, just press one of the plays (1,2,3,4) and the alley oop key.

as for 360 dunks, they are possible on a PC, with the keyboard. You just need to simulate the movement on the gamepad
with the keys you have to control the movment of the player. for instance up-W, down-S, left-A, right-A. the you have to press very fast these keys when you are gathering for the dunk in order counter clockwise ... ASDW to complete the circle.

as for 720 you have to do it twice: start with rebound/block and asdwasdw the finish with shoot/take charge button. almost impossible :D
