my joystick dont work!!!

well my joystick aint workin. its that psx to usb thingy from radio shack nd my pc doesnt seem to bee reading it when i plug it in to my usb port. i connect it nd nothin happens any help???

Have you installed the drivers for it? If Windows won't recognise it then NBA Live 07 won't either.

ive unintalled nd reinstalled many times. i plug it in nd NOTHIN happens usually sumthin pops up when i plug sumthin in my pc

Does it work with other games ?

Or maybe its damaged.

its kinda weird cuz ill plug it in the the controller turns on like il can prees the analog buttin nd itll turn on so i dunno if its broke or not its just that my pc wont read it for sum reason which i weird cuz i got alot of stuff thats connected thru a usb port nd they work just fine o yea nd it dont work with any other games b/c of wut i said in da begginin

try this..go to control panel>printers and other hardware> game controllers(open) .. if there is a one controler clik on it and press properties..its opens a test..test your game pad there..if somthing not working wright click settings and calibrate, and make your settings...in game when selecting controler if your gamepad showsup click on it and there will be writen genetic, change it to more simular to youres gamepad, and play...but what kind of gamepad do you have?(trust,logitec..)

i also have the same problem but mine is worse because my controller works on other pc but on my own it's not working, it just vibrate but it's not working, my usb port is fine with regards to other devices that i connect to that port.

hey mateo, the way to check if the adapter is really working is through the control panel. If you are on xp just look for game controllers and if the joystick appears there then click porperties and run the test. Other than you may have the wrong driver of the thing doesn't really work.
