Graphical issue

Hi,
I have just upgraded to an ACER(AL 1716) 17 inch lcd monitor after running the game very successfully on an standard crt 17 inch monitor. I am now missing the exit (X) at the top of the screen, and the forward move arrow at the bottom. My desktop resolution is 1280 x 1024 (the spec for the monitor) and the game is at the same res. My graphics card is a 6600GT nividia 256mb. ANyone else come across this/fixed this?

sometimes it happens to me, sometimes not, i have an LG Flatron 15 inch
