how to do that the cpu have 80 shoots per game...

Thu Feb 08, 2007 10:59 pm

in a game of 12 min quarter? Sorry, my english is very bad...I play 12 min quarter and the cpu team and me have 100 or more shoots per game (field goalds). In a realistic game the teams have 75 or 80 field goalds...thank you

To have a real game, it uses 10 or 11 min for quarter.

I play 12 mins @ superstar.

Trick here is get fouled and shoot free throws. Post-up or drive to the basket and pray they foul you. Take this for example:

Chicago took 102 FG attempts for the game and only 11 free throws while Sacramento got 26 attempts at the FT and end up with only 72 FG attempts.

Also, cut down on TO's and perhaps minimize tip ins :)

Last, cut the game speed (I play @ 20 game speed). Milking the clock works too.

Turn game speed down, use more of the shot clock, play stronger defense and force the CPU to run plays, don't give up offensive rebounds.

Wow you guys need 10-12 minutes to get realistic stats?

I play on superstar with difficult sliders @ 8 minute quarters and score more than realistic. For me 7 min is most reallistic but I like having 110-130 point games so I play 8 min ;)

Miyagi-San, it's not that we need 10-12 minutes to get realistic stats, it's that we can manipulate the game to get realistic stats for 10-12 minutes. After all, that's the actual length of NBA games.
