Anyone able to blow by a defender - any defender???

Thanks to the momentum feature, you cannot blow by a computer defender anymore, even if freestyle crossovers and first steps. Even if AI is guarded by Shaq. The problem is, the crossovers are not as effective. Also, even if you get half by the defender, as soon as he moves to catch up, his force field bounces you back so that you're always in front of him. The clearest demonstration of this is when you're playing one on one vs. the computer. It's like 2 sumo wrestlers constantly bumping each other trying to knock each other back. This is actually my biggest complaint about the game, not the sub thing. When I play a human opponent, 07 is actually quite playable.

What?

Firstly, there are sliders for freestyle effectivness. Secondly, I've had no problems beating defenders with Ben Gordon or Kirk Hinrich in my dynasty (who, in my last game, broke seasons scoring record with 54 points. I shot 9/18 of threes and more than 50% on the field. Though only a couple of them were layups). It doesn't happen often, but it happens at times. It's especially fun to abuse and confuse opposing teams bench pointguards.

Anyways, I'm using default settings on freestyle and it's not a problem. You obviously can't blow by completely, but enough to get to the basket for a layup. One of the most awesome moves by guards have pulled off is the quick slip through in between two defenders. Ouchie how lovely that is if it's a success.

With a great slaher, for example AI you named, I do not see any problems to blow by a defender and go for the easy two. The crossover move is perfect for that, just like in real life. And then we have the new 1on1 animation, in which your player tries to use his arm to create some space, and vs weaker defensive guards will just drive past him.
