Which NBA LIVE u will be playing?

Sat Sep 30, 2006 10:55 pm

Well NBA LIVE 07 is very good game. I like new features and the graphics but with those bugz I have to switch back to NBA LIVE 06. So I wonder how many people here will do the same? Maybe we should working on new patches for NBA LIVE 06 cauze I really doubt that EA will release pacth soon which is funny cauze every game developer who care about customer is releasing patch right away let's saycouple next dayz. For example first Company of Heroes patch was released day after the game came to stores. Another example: Secret files: Tunguska was ready to go to shops but there was some major bug and they decided to push back the release for another month and destroy all dvds with bugs.

Lots of truth in your post. Other games take years to make, and the developers release patches quickly. I remember Live 2001 for PC being released in FEBRUARY of 2001. They pushed it back around 5 months. Then they decided to fuck releasing Live 2002 on PC, which was a good idea. But they also lied their panties off, stating something about making PC specific features with the extra time they had in not releasing the game that year. That turned out to be "customart" which the Live communtiy had been doing anyways.

I'm thinking about buying a console. I refuse to play any of the EA's products if they'll continue to have this attitude towards us, the most loyal part of their fanbase.

Well... Of course I'm not going to blacklist Live 07 for good. But since I have a great 06 dynasty going right about now, where I made the sweetest fantasy draft, I might as well hang on to that. Live 06 aren't getting worse just because 07 is released.

So basically I'll switch a bit between the two, but will mainly focus on 06 untill further information regarding a patch is announced.

I agree with some of what you're saying. EA is notoriuosly known for their half hearted games and initiativ to improve these, compared to other companies.

I agree. Games like Duke Nukem Forever took ages, and I still don't know if its still coming out. Its release date has been "when it's out" since about 5 years ago. Fans of the series still await its release even though the technology might be years back.

Its about the pride game publishers, and the production team take in making their games. It's obviously a bonus if games get released on time, or before or close to the Sport's season opening date. But they don't understand that gamers would rather wait, even missing that year's version for a good game.

I don't know how EA works internally. Maybe the sales/marketing department wants games for the platforms they designate every year regardless of quality, etc.

I'm not playing this game till a patch comes out. I'm going to reinstall Live'06.

And there's no such thing as return the game to the store policy in my country. I think it only works in the US and some other countries? There's a 90 day policy thing at the back of my Live'07 manual, I'll go read it later :x

-edit-

Sorry, I meant "When it's done" instead of "when it's out"
