just to share a thing or two..
well, i got nba live 07 for 2 days now, and i've been playing it for awhile.
first impressions were great, i loved the ambience, the crowd and all
the gameplay was decent at least
i am not going into specifics as this is not the point of my post
i was very disappointed to find out a couple of glitches.
first and most importantly was the lack of substitutions. i do not know how most people feel about this, but to me, this is a game breaking glitch.
i think this glitch renders the entire game "useless", after i believe people play nba live more for the gameplay itself than more simming.
i am also concerned about the issue regarding signature shots.
i could not care less if signature shots were including, however as someone has pointed out, the PC-DVD key features in the EA Sports website clearly and maybe misleadingly states that signature shots are part of key features.
while, i do not care for shawn marion's ugly shot, i am again disappointed because i feel customers are being cheated.
i am not here to discuss the shortcomings of nba live, though i think most of us are pretty disappointed with the overall status of the game.
i used to play FIFA series also by EA Sports, and the gameplay was shit.
Then, Winning Eleven series was available for the PC and thats when i "jumped ship". it was in the next 2 to 3 years that i noticed reviews for FIFA series were more favourable and the game was highly improved.
this makes me wonder if game makers are indeed taking PC users for granted due to lack of compettion in the PC market.
i want to play NBA Live on the PC but i feel until the substitution problem is addressed, the game is not playable. The user should not have to go to the lengths of manually subbing players for the CPU side. while this is a work around, this is definately not a solution and i believe as paying customers we can and should expect better.
Yep these are just my thoughts before going to bed.

The substitution problem has been noticed and is the primary issue. We're already starting a petition, and hopefully EA will release a patch to fix that.
