Seeing as it says "North America Only" pretty clearly right there, I'm not so sure about that.

Nice find (y)

Donatello: Actually, you can choose different regions as well.
Though perhaps the language will change as well then.. :eh:

Ah, yep. They added more text to that after I saw it- all it said at the time was "North America Only", it didn't say that about the prices varying by region.

Still might change languages though, but I hope for MLG33's sake it doesn't.

there's a "EUROPE" version.

my guess is that you may be able to download it and it's probably in english, since the page is translated in the language of each region and the european version page is in english.

What I cant understand is why it takes 4 gigs when 06 was only about 1.6 gigs. Maybe there is more to it then we think.

it is Windows service pack 2, i tried to install the latest Media Player the other day, which requires Windows service pack 2 and it wouldn't let me(because i dont have it). Let's hope that's not the case with Live 07.

Fri Sep 15, 2006 5:55 pm

well im restoring my computer for like the hundreth time tommorrow, but theres no way im downloading those auto updates. Is there a way to just download SP2 or do u have to go thru all the downloads? Im sure there will be a way around it for 07

It's to download and install it. So roughly 2 GB for the installation files and 2 GB for the finished product...

"You must leave the EA Downloader installed on your computer and maintain a continued connection to the internet in order to validate the license for certain products acquired through the use of the EA Downloader."

One disadvantage is having this program constantly running - EA spyware to deliver ads and monitor your computer use.

The other disadvantage is not being able to sell the game if you decide you're tired of it.
