IF YOUR THINKING OF BUYING NBA LIVE 2007 FOR THE PC - DONT!!

HELLO,
JUST TO TELL YOU A FEW THINGS BEFORE YOU GO AND WASTE MONEY ON BUYING THE PC VERSION OF LIVE 2007. FIRST OFF, I AM AN AVID FAN OF BASKETBALL IN GENERAL, AND HAVE BEEN PLAYING THE EA SPORTS VERSIONS SINCE 1995. I PLAYED ONLINE FOR YEARS, BUT I FINALLY DECIDED TO HANG IT UP. AND ILL TELL YA WHY. TOO MANY CHEATERS PERIOD. ITS ALL TO EASY TO CHEAT IN ANY OF THE GAMES THAT EA SPORTS HAS PUT OUT, BECAUSE YOU CAN MANIPULATE THE FILES WITHIN THE PC, WHICH MEANS GIVING YOUR PLAYERS ALL 99 RATINGS IN RANKED OR UNRANKED MODES ONLINE. FURTHER, EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO LAG ONLINE BY HITTING THE F12 FUNCTION KEY WHEN THE OTHER PERSON IS AT THE FREE THROW LINE, AND LAG THE WHOLE GAME IF THEY WANT TO. WHATS THE PURPOSE OF PLAYING ONLINE??? ITS TO SEE WHERE YOU ARE RANKED RIGHT. WELL HOW THE HELL DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THEY RANK?? WITH ALL THE CHEATERS ONLINE..FURTHER, ITS BEEN VERY EASY FOR THESE IDIOTS TO ALSO JOIN THEMSELVES WITH ANOTHER COMPUTER THEY HAVE AT HOME, AND JUST SIMPLY QUIT THE GAME SO THEY CAN GET A WIN...AND MAY YOU ASK HOW?? BECAUSE THEY HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS. THESE FOOLS WASTE MONEY GOING OUT AND BUYING 2-3 GAMES AND MORE...GIVING THEMSELVES FAKE WINS ONLINE.. THE GOOD THING ABOUT THE NEXT GEN SYSTEMS, IS YOU CANT DO THAT. THATS WHY IM SWITCHING TO XBOX 360, AT LEAST ITS A LITTLE SAFER. BE WARNED. ANY OF YOU VETERANS KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT// SEE YA. WOULDNT WANT TO BE YA.

um, first off, it is a known fact that PC Sport gamers are cheaters, thats why you join a good community like this one and play only people you know. (or join a league instead of attempting one
)
secondly, why the CAPS? and the bold; I see you been basically lurking here (except for your league) for about 2 years, so Id hope youd figure out that youll be taken more seriously if you dont use that kind of font.
good luck with the 360, cause you evidently dont understand how to effectively play PC games online

Well, I agree with you, the online cheating is appalling. Which is why when I want to play online, I play with someone over direct IP, rather than through the lounge. You might not rack up on wins/losses, but then again, that's not why I play it (and I can live without the 'e-fame' ).
Also, I think most people on this site/board choose PC because of all the patches and such, not because of the online play..

well i had a system that allowed me basically play only good guys on EASO in NBA live 2005
just go in and play and if you notice the guys are cheaters, then just dont play them anymore. you can avoid them messaging you by blocking them in the EASO messenger. I basically had a group of guys who i regularly played in EASO and on direct IP. if you play for fun the rating doesnt matter and if you see a guy agging then just quit the game and let him have the win, that owuld be the last one he gets on you.

yeah i think most peope here buy the pc non especifically to play online.. me espeacially am used to live without since my 06 version came without it.. i dont think its very relevant but sure if you care thatt much about online play the 360 is a good call

never had a problem with online cheating, then again i only play friends online.
