I released plugins for windowed mode and widescreen support for NBA Live series, which includes NBA Live 07 too.

Fantastic stuff! I've been holding off on installing NBA Live 07 on my new PC since I've finally run into that DirectX9 error (need to copy it to my second HDD and install from there so that I can change the ini file to remove that check), but this'll be incredibly useful to have once it's back on my system.

We have new updates ladies and gentlemen!

I fixed aspect ratio for UI components and provided a custom resolution for the menus. Therefore you don't need to run the game in 640x480 as you can change the resolution. Please re download both windowed mode and widescreen plugin, as their contents are merged into one ini file instead of separate ones.

As I mentioned in another topic, running the installation in compatibility mode for Windows Vista seemed to do the trick.

One of the things I wanted to improve was the quality of 2x crowds. Recently I succeeded at this by some hex editing.

The new version of the widescreen and resolution plugin is released. This plugin fixes;

- Position & scale of loadbar for 2005, 06, 07, 08
- Position & scale of player model at creation zone for 2005, 06, 07, 08
- Functionality to enable/disable intro videos for 2005, 06, 07, 08
- Scale of movies for 2005 and 06 (if you want intros and widescreen together, iceman made amazing intro videos in 1920x1088, get them here)

I had an issue with NBA Live 07 on Windows 11. my resolution plugin did not work with some screens. I found a workaround for FIFA 07 and this worked

What worked for me as a Windows 11 user:

Download the Legacy DirectX Components (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... px?id=8109) [This was made specifically for games before 2010]

Extract these files to a separate folder. I done that on my desktop. Run the DXSetup within your folder of extracted files, to install the Legacy DirectX Components.

Visit folder that contains your FIFA07.exe, right click on it. Go to Properties > Compatibily > Run on Windows XP Windows (Pack 3), Tick Disable Full Screen, Tick Run with Administration.

Restart your PC.

Enjoy FIFA07!

I spend like 10 minutes looking over the web, nothing worked. I told Copilot my issue, and followed it's instructions, and voila.

Change FIFA07 with NBA Live 07. Third step you don't need to do that. Just install legacy DX components, restart and voila
