Why do some players in the offseason when you try to sign them say that they're worried about roster stability and then sometimes they won't even resign, when you haven't even made a trade, not even attempted a trade, and didn't even try or actually sign anyone the entire season? I didn't even trade draft picks! The only thing that happend is that other computer teams offered me trades but i turned them down.

It's just one of those things that can randomly happen. Think of it as those players having an unfounded concern; unfortunately there's no negotiation system to allay their fears and persuade them otherwise.
