[question]about nba 07 faces

why is it that the face in nbalive07 are weird when u are in a normal play..

but if u look and compare to the face of the player on the replays....replays player faces are good and fine...here i have some screenshot for u guys to know what im talkin about..

cuz.. it bothers me u know i am expecting a good graphics on this game since EA is the one who build this., i remember nbalive05 face are good even in a normal play

Looks like the entire model is the low quality one in the second screen. You can see his fingers aren't even seperated. Do you have the detail settings set to maximum for the players?

You haven't installed the art of missing players.

What roster are you using?

If it's the NLSC update, you'll want to give Faces Troubleshooting.txt a look.

i dont know what is the name of this roster but...im sure i downloaded it here and it names the march 2008 roster..it is for nbalive08 but he said on his thread that.....it can be use in nbalive07....and the hell yeah it works!..

but....as u see alien faces...LOL

That's not my roster then. Still, the problem is the roster is looking for art files (specifically face files) which it cannot find, so the game is displaying a default texture. The solution is to download face patches for those players. You might want to check the release thread to see if there's an art pack available.

is that nbalive07 current roster patch contain the latest trade of players...in real life?? cuz i download the roster w/c im using now cuz it does the current trade in players!.....

and if not....is there any way that i can fix my prob? the alien faces?

Yes, the rosters that I've linked to in my signature add missing players and include all the latest transactions. It also includes all the required art for the new players, some of the faces are generic but you won't get any issues with the default texture being displayed (and if you do, consult Faces Troubleshooting.txt which is included with the patch).
