"Inbound Plays"

Usually when you are inbounding after a dead ball, at the top right of the screen it says "inbound plays." Does anyone know what that really means or what to do to access that? I know that you can use the numbers to just make a play anytime. Do I have to go into the playbook and do something when it says this, or what?

you call a play like you would any other play but the time you can call it seems to be very short....
