Dynasty: Game Crash During SIM

Postby Nam on Mon Feb 19, 2007 11:06 am

Whenever I start a Dynasty with any team, and start to SIM the first couple days (usually after the first game), the game crashses and a message pops-up saying there's a codebase error with players.dbf in WORKINGDB folder (picture below). I was wondering if someone can help me or upload the players.dbf, in that directory maybe because it's corrupted or something. Thanks.

System Specs incase anyone needs it:

Intel Pentium 4 3.20 GHz

Sorry I can't help you but I am having the same problem and I can make a few notes about changes I made

I used the most recent NLSC roster patch with the primacy fix. This issue didn't come up for me until a ways into the season, I think after I used the primacy fix.

I am also using created players and did a fantasy draft.

It could be one of those things or anything else.

EDIT: Jut remembered, it puts a bunch of CDX files in workingdb that I have never seen before with similar names to the original dbf files but in caps and with numbers at the end for example there is both:

Try replacing all the files in the database folders (workingdb, currentdb, originaldb etc) with original files from the NBA Live 07 disc.

I don't have a disk, my friend has it and I'm using the No-CD Patch (which is legal if you have the game (which i do)) and he is "looking" for it. Anyways, what I've tried is

 Replacing the files from my NBA Live folder
 Got the folder sent from friend and replaced the player.dbf
 System Restore (pretty useless)

Last thing I want to do is reinstall, because I don't have the CD with me, probably get it back by the end of this week (if I'm lucky) or I'm screwed and I have to download all those patches I've done (which I don't want to do)

I've also used the most recent NLCL Patch and primacy fix, but didn't create player and done fantasy draft. And I got those "extra" files too.
