quick question ?

Postby RKO on Thu Oct 19, 2006 9:24 am

how do u change the players teams using the editing of the dbf files. I have a dynasty with the Spurs and I have been trying to get this one player and I have been offering fair trades but they just wont accept. The cap is even and the ratings, they are just saying that they dont wanna trade this player of so and so. Do I need any programs or anything ?

Thanks in advance, SAballer

go to players.dbf

change the team and roster position numbers to the team you want him to go to... just switch the values for both players round. Pretty simple...

so if you see this:

Player A: Team: 3 Roster pos: 2
Player B: Team: 22 Roster pos: 2

Just swap the values around!

use dbf commander from this site, I've been using it for a long time, before I joined the forums (Y)

You'll find players.dbf in your saved roster file in My Documents. Open it with DB commander, locate the players that are concerned and the "team" column, and change the values. Usually, pressing enter will validate the changes and you can just exit DB commander and launch the game.
