game stuck after people injured

injured - subs - free throw- refree held the ball and didn't make a pass
but the game not crashed , just stayed in that screen
anybody has same experience??

I got a couple of games in before sending in the patch petition since my copy arrived the other day. I didn't happen to me when Jason Terry left the game with an injury; if it is a bug it might be one that occurs sparodically (kind of like the overtime bug in NBA Live 2001 and NBA Live 2002) because it wouldn't appear to be a glitch that happens every time without fail (like the subs problem).

I wish I had video taped this but I was playing in my friends room on the PS2. I go up for a dunk and I stay in the air, the ball drops to the ground and the play continues but the camera never goes off my player. I called timeout switched players and still in the dunk animation. Then I switch teams and he is still in the dunk animation. So I stay on the other team and when they are bringing the ball up court the PG passes it to him (Ricky Davis) and it's an alley oop. WTF. Come on I have the game for 360 but sold it to my friend right away after playing the wonderful 2K7. I now see why it got so many low reviews. This game is just to buggy. NBA 07 is better than this.

i think i just had a similar problem
what happened for me was that yao ming got injured, and had and AND1
so Deke came in and took a free throw just fine
however, on a seperate play, which was pretty confusing, the animation showed deke going up for a dunk and was somehow stuffed (deke complete his dunk animation but the ball just flew backward) a stat line popped up showing that this guy (either lamar or kwame) had a certain number of blocks so i assumed it was a rejection, but a foul was still called.
so deke steps up to the free throw, and the action just stops there..
the referee refuses to pass the ball to deke and all of the players are stuck halfway in a pose unable to move.
i don't know how this will help but i hope the details will do some good in finding out the glitch
