Gettin' scary for PS2 version

Postby Ghost Recon on Thu Sep 28, 2006 6:45 am

After all the bugs complaints I'm gettin scared about the PS2 version. Is there the same bugs as the PC because we can't edit massive things.

Probably because he does not want to pay 40 to 50 bucks for a game with obvious flaws.

If you have not bought it yet, don't until these bugs are addressed by ea. Thats my recommendation. The game is pretty fun and more challenging, but without cpu subs its not very realistic.

I seriously hope the PS2 doesn't have anywhere near the amount of major bugs that both the Xbox and PC have. The gameplay seems to have improved greatly, though the bugs seem to be HUGE ones (terrible subbing patterns/close to none at all, point guard doing everything).

EDIT: Another thing that should be looked at is the roster cutoff date. Last year, August 25th or so was the date, that was bad enough. This year, August 1st as roster cutoff date? That's ridiculous. I much rather (and I believe everyone else here would also) have the game come out late and have the rosters more up-to-date (let it be something like mid-September), not to mention this would give time to fix last minute bugs, making the game much more polished. I don't see why they want to release the game seemingly earlier and earlier.

Sorry if that seems to be stating the obvious.

True that Mofo I wish the roster cut-off date was later, Zoran Planinic is still on the Nets for crying out loud and Jared Jeffries is still on the Wizards!

Come on...

But I seriously doubt that these bugs exist on the PS2/Xbox versions, EA isn't THAT dumb that they would alienate arguably the largest part of their fanbase with easily correctable flaws that PC users are complaining about it.

(On the flip side EA probably gives a rats arse about PC users since they comprise such a small proportion of LIVE users)

Let least you have an alternative (2k7). Us PC users are stuck with LIVE 07 (which never mattered to me until this year though)

all the bugs in the PC version are reportedly in the other current gen versions aswell.

If I had a console I would get 2k7 for sure. I played last years on PS2 and it made this years Live PC version look bad.

I'm getting 2k7 too. One thing's for sure, I'm not deleting any of my saved 2006 and 2005 games just yet.
Play On.
