Starting lineup intro's?

Postby -Young Buck- on Sat Aug 26, 2006 8:17 am

Ive seen some Xbox 360 footage where they show off the starting 5 just how any other real nba game starts. Is this going to be the same for current gen? I didnt really like the FSS highlights for 1 player from 06, and would much rather see a starting lineup intro like in the 360.

I dont think so...Pretty sure they will have the intros as in 06, maybe a bit modified, but not as in next gen.

EDIT: lol didnt read it correctly, I bet they will make the starting line up intros only in dynasty.

Intros ARE in 06, just for Dynasty only or when nobody on the Home team has FSS.

In Andrew's recap of Live 07 from the community day event, i'm pretty sure i read in somewhere that there would be starting five intros in 07 and NOT FSS in exhibition plays.

Correct. (Y) Next Gen's intros are different to Current Gen though.

I just want a normal player introduction and done. I want it authentic and real not what EA is doing.

The intros on Current Gen are similar to last year but are closer to being a TV presentation. They don't have the blurring effect of Next Gen. I think Bruce summed up the Next Gen intros best:

DaKiNgRoUnDHeRe4 wrote:Getting an upgrade this year is the player intros and the arenas. You’ll notice the difference right away. When you’re dropped into the arena you’ll see everything looks much better than last year. There are Spotlights of the home teams logo being shined all over the arena. The crowd looks great and they are roaring and ready to go. Then a nice touch has been added to the player intros. Your player’s name is called by the announcer, you see him get up and he gets kind of pumped then you see the game player slow down some and the screen changes color into like a blue hue. Then you see the players name and number come up in big white lettering along with there FSSS icon and man the effect is pretty cool.
