Which choices do you recommend or prefer for each category and why?

I dont play games on PC so that is out for me.

It isnt a difference between the 360 an ps3 version of either game because its already been said that they will be the same.

What about Graphics? Which one is going to be better? And definitley the Online experience plays into it, x360 has better online system but not specifically for this game.

I say xbox 360 n nba live 07....live is gonna b a classic hands down (next gen) and xbox 360 graphics chip is a monster unified shaders....all I'm sayin is that aint come out for pc yet!!!!!!

Well PS3 may have better graphics, but I will get both games for the 360. Don't have the money to get a PS3. They are basically the same but the PS3 is $300 more.

graphics will be exactly the same I'd say....maybe in 2 years time, PS3 graphics might be slightly better, but honestly, considering the systems seem fairly close (with PS3 having the edge), it would seem silly for EA to spend the extra cost of making 2 different versions for current gen....I predict there will be only one version, although I could be wrong....I can't see it being like the difference between XBox & PS2....we'll have to wait & see, but I'm getting it for 360....

Not exactly, I would say that 360 is more powerful (almost twice) but PS3 it's more like a PC: with a big hard disk, internet browsing tools, etc,

If he's looking to buy a console my advice is to buy Wii and 360 (it will cost the same as a PS3). I've been a Nintendo fan for ages, and I had Sony consoles too, but... this time I think Sony will be the worst one.

I'm extremelly happy with 360 online service, all my friends bought the console too when they saw the online possibilties. The price isn't so high and It's a really friendly console, with the best games I've ever played (except Zeldas and Marios ).

I bought Fight Night Round 3 and we are still playing with the same intensity and passion as the first days. Perfect Dark, Call of Duty, Project Gotham, GHOST RECON (GOD OF VIDEOGAMES), NBA 2K6... I just can't get bored with this console. Also you can download free demos of almost all games.

I already have a 360, and if NBA 07 isn't going to be different on the PS3 then I will get it for 360 unless I like 2k7 more.

I am going to buy PS3 as well but not until early 07, I am very happy with 360 online service and am a HALO fanatic online.

Why I dont want PS3 on Launch? Because it worries me that it might be a bust for PS3 this time around. $600 on launch is too risky!

Here is how I see it, please no one take this personally: X360 is for white people and PS3 is for asians, but I am leaning toward the white people on this one because I am tired of the Fantasy games PS3 make such as Final Fantasy

EA said they will look the same, now later on is another story, the PS3 have Blu ray and HDMI 1080p, the 360 only can do 1080i so PS3 games could look better in 1080p, the PS3 is more future proof and blu ray could hold more data than the standard dvd's the 360 use plus developers can use the harddrive to make loading times faster on the PS3. As of right now the 360 have the better online service but I would'nt say its better untill we learn more about sony's online service. I love my 360 but I think the PS3 is going to be more powerfull than the 360 its going to turn out like the PS2 vs XBOX, the 360 will sell more but the PS3 will pack more power.

I disagree shobie....yes its true the ps3 is CAPABLE of 1080p with hdmi but how many people have atv to show the 1080p and is 1080p and 1080i really THAT different...(they aren't very slightly)...another this is, the 360 gpu n software to drain it is incredible, I doubt the ps3 will be able to handle the same visuals as the 360 n as far as cell how is the cpu gonna do gpu tasks n reg. Cpu computions with all that space sony os takes up...(32 n 96 mbs)...as far as space on the dvd I heard a while back that microsoft invested in a korean company that is workin on allowing reg dvd to hold more space, fvd I think it was called...all in all this is gonna be an interestin generation of console gaming and obviously my bet is on microsoft...

1080p and 1080i have a very large difference. Having just bought my first HDTV, I can tell you the difference is very noticable. There is no HD signal that produces 1080p right now, despite TVs being capable of receiving it, but it will be head and shoulders the best picture available, bar none.

How long will it take before HDMI 1.3 games will hit stores?

I been holding on a new HDTV because of the so called PS3 & HDMI 1.3 and TV's have not even come out with HDMI 1.3 TV's yet, probably in Winter this year I heard. I want the full quality output from my sources so am holding on the TV until Sony gives us details of exactly what the hell PS3 is gonna do.

But not many people have hdtv capable of 1080p anywho....all in all everyone is free to make their own decisions...if u want pure gaming 360 is the choice...if u want the uber hi tech n expensive machine that isn't ALL about gaming the ps3 is an excellent choice
