They are basically saying the same old shit in every news report while the gameplay looks depressingly the same as live 06. :|

Great find. I'm glad that they are starting to make the game more authentic. Let's hope they keep their word this year.

Did you guys catch this?

This year we have created a lot of player specific move packages that will affect how the game plays. For example, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter and Lebron James are Superstar High Flyers in NBA LIVE 07, but they have different dunk packages and won't play exactly alike. We've also given you the ability to edit a player's dunk packages so if you don't like the way we've made him play you can go in and give him the moves you want him to have. The exact number of star and superstar moves is still changing, but at last count it was around 120 unique animations. The ability to switch types on the fly this year means that a player like T-Mac would have 30+ unique animations available to him during a game.

The dunkpack bit sounds good as long as none of those are ridiculous ASW styled dunks. Bring back the sim.

Well if you can choose, you should be able to take those out. But I know there's rediculous dunks in the game, did you see that 360 windmill VC style that T-Mac did in the producer interview?

i cant believe the amount of people judging the game from the videos we've seen, theres stil 6 or 7 weeks until its release and i can bet the videos we've seen aren't up-to-date

wer we really expecting something looking COMPLETELY different?? no, its just not realistic to change the engine in a year, infact the only thing wrong with the engine they hav been using is the footplanting (everything else to me is simply configurations and animations... which can be added and removed/changed)

if the dynasty mode is better, the FSS moves are improved and there are the little extras then ill be happy with the purchase

Thanks kaat2g, it's in the news and you've got the credit. :)

Not a great deal of new info on that one but a couple of noteworthy items. Collision detection sounds like it'll be a bit better this year with a player's weight coming into play, hopefully players won't get meshed together as they sometimes did in NBA Live 06. I really like the idea of player specific movesets and the ability to edit dunk packages. I was hoping for some good news in regards to Dynasty Mode but I guess those details are still coming.

Well... do you really think EA is really truthful about player's weight coming into play? I have a feeling that when Live 07 comes out, Shaq still can't post up on Nate Robinson or Earl Boykins without getting shoved out 5 feet everytime he makes a progress.

We have enough mods...we don't need anymore. I already took care of the double post.

I guess it remains to be seen if it will be implemented properly but it's never really been mentioned before so I'm interested to see if it's been done successfully. I realise I could be setting myself up for disappointment but I'm intrigued by that snippet of information nevertheless.
