Community Day Report Coming Tomorrow

Postby Andrew on Tue Jul 11, 2006 5:59 pm

Exciting news, everyone. In August I will be flying to Canada to take part in a conference for community leaders held by EA Sports where I'll have an opportunity to ask the NBA Live 07 development team some questions as well as see the game in action. You may recall a similar event was held a couple of years back which I was unfortunately unable to attend, but I'm very excited to be able to take part in this one. I'm looking forward to representing the NBA Live Series Center at the event and providing you with some scoops on NBA Live 07.

Shane represented us at the event a couple of years back, I'm pretty sure DANet represented nbalive.org.

You should just show them this site, and let them take some notes on what to improve lol. But on the more serious note this is very cool. Hope you have a good time, maybe you'll cross ways with me since I live in upstate New York around Syracuse. Your lucky, but you deserve it.

Is this a public event? Can anyone go? I live just an hour away from Vancouver and I've been to the EA building there before...

Great stuff...and it has nothing to do with luck. It's a webmaster's thing and drew is the webmaster. :P Make sure you get them to implement atleast more than one of our wishlist items for live 08 andrew!

Wow, pre-paid flight and you get an advance look at Live 07? Hot dog!

Like TBD said, if you can find the time to take a few pictures it'd definitely be nice treat to everyone at the forums.

Congrats Andrew. I recall it being quite an odd conversation when someone from North America was the only feasible option of representing the NLSC.

Glad to see they took some of the money they make off of us and actually used it on the "leader" this time around. They should've done that the first time around. Then again, EA tend to comprehend things a tad later than us folks over here.

Anyways, enjoy, oh don't run up the room service bill, washing hotel dishes can be a bitch.

Now we wait for them to invite the whole NLSC Staff Crew next year around. Well, the sane ones...

If you paid your own way to go would you be able to go to the event or is it like invite only? Like what if Andrew lived in Vancouver but wasnt invited, could he go to the event anyway?
