A Quick Question..and also about Shoes...

Is there a way that you can convert a Live 08 roster file to Live 06? I tried replacing player dbf from 08 to 06 but the roster won't load up and errors up. Any suggestions? Or is this possible? Currently I'm trying to figure out how I can update the roster file from 06 but using the NLSC 2010-11 update only as base but there are a lot of player movements already and new rookies as well. If anyone has a roster file of 2011-12 for 06 or a draft only that I can use as base I would gladly update it.

The 06 players.dbf file has a couple of fields that were taken out in 08, so you need to add them again for them to work properly. There's also a lot of values that need to be fixed for Freestyle Superstars to work properly and the like. Unless you've got a fair amount of experience working with the databases I wouldn't recommend it.

Ummm I sort of kinda figured out how to put the names and attributes manually and individually using the DB Commander by copying a base roster from 08 ( current one ). I also used some rookie face patches from 08 and it works in game Just one question though...Can an EBO file be renamed so as to be used to a current rookie that has no cf but his face has a lot of similarity to it....is that possible...sorry for being a noob..he he he. Any more suggestions and tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was wondering if the shoe files from 07 and 08 will work here in 06? If so up to how many shoes can be imported to the game..I counted up to 999 for 07 and 08...If there's a way to do that is the fsx editing will be enough or they are 2 different files altogether. Anyway I'll be comparing them out and make tests about it.

I'm not sure if the format has changed, I wouldn't be too surprised if it hasn't. Worth exploring. I'm guessing the limit is the same, not sure if this is of any help:
