I noticed in the "teaminfo.dbf" file, each team has listed previous versions of said team.

does that mean that teams could be converted backwards to previous versions in the game?

such as the LA Clippers reverting back to the Buffalo Braves, etc.



I doubt it is, but thought I'd ask.

also what ARE those listings in that database for then?

I believe an older version of the game used to display the team history, which is what that was used for.

That's correct. I don't think it's been put to use since NBA Live 2003/NBA Live 2004, possibly only NBA Live 2003. It's been a while.
