keyboard problem

hey I'm new to NBA Live 06 from my friend. I installed the game and everything seem fine except the game doesn't seem to recognize my controller for some odd reason. I saved my own profile for my keyboard setting, but when I go to play now, I can't select what team I want to play for and even in-game I can't move the keyboard selection to the team. Can someone help me with this? thanks

make sure u have ur controller in ur usb before u open the game and it should work.

Maybe get the settings back to Default.
