Question about Scouting

Is it better to scout a player each day of the calender or does it matter at all? because it really gets tiring simulating each day of the year and looking for a new guy to scout

I've always preferred to select the maximum of five players since that keeps my scout busy for six days at a time and streamlines the process of scouting different players. You can choose not to scout at all but it will affect your GM rating, result in some nagging reminders in the PDA and won't leave you with much info when the Draft comes around.

but i have only one scout and when i try to do more than one it says he is already on a trip

You have to select all 5 players or however many you want to scout before exiting.

but once i click on one player, then click on the next, the first one gets unselected

Click on a player, select which area you want your scout to focus on and then click on another player. Don't click Next until you've selected up to five players.
