Retiring ages...

Postby kaiser_kobe on Wed May 14, 2008 6:39 pm

Could someone tell me what would be the ages of Kobe, Odom, CP3, and Fisher before they retire...

I dont think its 35 because there are some players that extends there before they retire...

Thanks :!: :D

It can vary from Dynasty to Dynasty. Once a player reaches the age of 32 there's a good chance he'll retire though most players do stick around until they're between 35-38.

There's a chance that they could play a little bit longer though. You can keep repeating the off-season when there's a player you don't want to retire just yet. I tried it already with keeping Lebron James away from retirement and still play longer... He went for 20 seasons for my dynasty. Add to the fact that this his age in the NLSC Roster from last year is already 22, that means he retired at the age 42 in my 06 Golden State Dynasty. :) And guess what? he still had a remarkable passing game.XD (He still had a Playmaker Superstar type. LOL!)

True, if you keep a copy of your Dynasty that has been saved before you progress through the offseason you can always try a do-over. Star players who are still relatively young (and especially players as young as LeBron) tend to hang around longer since their ratings have further to fall. On the other hand, older players like Shaq who are already approaching retirement age usually retire within a couple of seasons even if they still have good ratings.
