Trading suggetions...

Postby kaiser_kobe on Mon May 05, 2008 12:56 pm

Hello guys, Just wanna share someting...
I'm playing already with the 3rd year of the dynasty of my nba live 06 (ps2). Im playing with LA Lakers.

This is my current roster:

Starting 5

K. Brown (77)(improved from 74 ovrl)
R. Rahman (75)*
L. Odom (83)(improved from 81 ovrl)
K. Bryant (95)
D. Fisher (70)

Bench

K. Korver(71)
S. Vujacic(65)
H. Blain(66) PG*
R. Hall(66) PG*
A. Bynum(66)(improved from 59 ovrl)
L. Walton (68)
R. Turiaf (61)
T. Yang (63) C* (7'3" height)
M. Mills (55) C*

*-CPU generated rookie

What do you think bout my roster? I think it needs some more trades.
Can you advise some trades for me? But personally I dont want to trade
KB, Odom, Korver, Fisher, Bynum, Vujacic, Walton, Turiaf, Yang and Hall.

Im at the month of feb already(all star weekend). And my upcoming free agents are K. Brown, Sasha, and M. Mills. I will re-sign sasha but planning to trade or unlikely release Brown, and M Mills.

What do you think bout Brown(77) to C Paul(76)?
But My center spot will be vulnerable if ill trade kwame?

Please give some suggestions guys.

Im a newbie here and this is my first post.

Thank you for reading.

Get CP3! Chris Paul i got him to 93 from 2005-2011 he improves the fastest out of my roster:

A. Bogut(90) O.K. improvement
Pau Gasol(89) slow improvement
C. Anthony(93) slow-fast improvement
Lebron James(99) Fast improvement! got him to 99 like the 3rd year...
Christ paul(93) Rediculous improvement he was really easy to get cause i used
the cavs i traded Daniel Marshall for him....just use a A+
coach(try getting 2 coaches if you can) and keep training his def
and off. cause his ath. is the best out of most of the guards

Bench:
PG. Jameer Nelson 77
SF. Holland Fergus* 71
SG. Chuma pierce* 71

So Yes Trade Chris Paul and try to trade Odom :/ he's getting old

Thanks. Is that your dynasty team? pretty good palyers...

Good reasons for the trade...Im now thinking for the Kwame Brown-CP3 trade.
But another factor is...I think I will have too much PGs with my roster.
Fisher might retire maybe after a couple of seasons...

But what do you mean bout getting 2 asst. coaches? Is that possible? Never tried of that...
Anyway thanks for the suggestion... :D

2 asst. coaches is possible if you do good in a season the team owner will trust you and give you more cap room for coaches..i got 3 coaches right now and i believe thats the max you can get... if you don't have alot of cap room for coaches right now negotiate with a trainer that have low rating for 3 yrs and save weekly during dynasty so if your players get injured you can load the game and there is no point of using a trainer xD

if you want better players try getting fisher involve in a 2 man trade it'll be easier to get him traded.

Just made a 2:2 trade...
Kwame Brown(77)+M Mills*(55)
=
Chris Paul(76)+Cpu SG rookie that have a good fgs and 3pt fgs rating (68)

So you got three assistant coaches...
and thats why you have a FAST improvement for your players.

Im already in february on my third year. In CP3 debut game vs Utah, we won easily by 20+ points (because AK47 was injured)

But I have only 1 space remaining in my rosters so Im having troubles for the NBA draft coming. However, We've been champs for my first 2 years. And looking toward for third.

Might as well trade Sasha for someone who needs an SG for a 1st rnd draft pick. Wat do you think?

But Ill just keep Fisher till he retires.(Unless some trades will work for a BETTER SF)

I want to retain as much as possible the real life Lakers team but maybe except for Pau(pretty costly).

So far I dont have any injury this year. Will try to get some asst coaches during the off season.

By the way are you playing NBA live 06 in ps2 too?

First of all awesome deal xD
Kwame Brown and M Mills for Chris Paul and a rookie

yup I got 3 assistant coach cause i win the playoff every year

if you have only 1 spot left try to trade 2 people like Sasha and someone else for 1 person like A.Pavlovic on the Cavs he's young and an excellent 3 pt shooter so you can have an extra spot for new draft

ya if you win most of the games..
1)you can pick crappy scouts cause you're not going to get first pick any ways xD
2)you can save that money to get another assistant coach.

No I play on the computer but my friend plays on the ps2 he's on his 11th year xD.

Thnx man.

But Im too excited playing my dynasty so Im on the playoffs now.
Already received some awards...

KB24- season MVP
Kyle korver-MIP and sixth man of the year
R Rahman- rookie of the year
Phil Jackson- coach of the year (28-1)(lost to GSW on 2nd OT)

will just drop the second round draft pick. i think my roster were at a somewhat like middle class level. my team rating is just 82.

I think i will focus on training CP3 and Andrew Bynum in the offseason.
And will definitely hunt for another asst coach...

11th season? Pretty hard working right there...is he just simming it or diligently playing every game?

Well thnx for the replies man...

First of all...
Yahooo, were the champions again!
Pretty easy finals with Miami(without D Wade-traded)

Sorry, dont have xfire or something like that.

But dont have time yet for the offseason...

However, im just curious, can i make a custom player in the middle of my dynasty? Could he be a part of my team immediately or he should be drafted?
How bout his salary? could i edit it?

My team now is full of guards(4 pgs and 4 sgs)
Will looking to trade Sasha and fisher(he's old and costly) for a better SF or PF?

I have odom at sf spot but just like you say hes getting old, while on my pf spot i have a rookie that has 75 ovrl (6'9").
My backups were walton and turiaf.

How bout gerald green? is he a good player? never seen him play though.

I tried to trade my sophomore pg(full bar on him), fisher(80% bar on him) and sasha(no bar at him) for Lebron james(99 ovrl already), but they decline on it. Any tips bout this?

Thanks for reading...

try to change sasha's position to SG or SF. Look what position player the cavs want and change into that. i not suggest to PF or C then sasha's overall will fall and very low. But is the money the same and the ratings?

Just made a trade for Lebron on my offseason. I trade Sasha first to Indiana for a center who have a higher ovrl(Indiana needs an SG) (forgot what is his name). Then I traded that center(70), D fisher(68) and a sophomore Pg(68) to Cleveland(they badly needing a PG) for LBJ. I was shocked when they accepted it because LBJ already has a 99 ovrl. What do you think guys bout this trade?
But i think my trade was not too realistic.

My starting lineup now is

C A Bynum

PF L Odom

SF L James

SG K Bryant

PG C Paul

and my team rating now( based on the live) is 94...do you think its too stacked?

TRADE LAMAR ODOM!!!!! trade him for somebody like dwight howard.... and you should try to get gerald green or andre iguodala because in the future they will be mid 90's.... then when fisher retires move lebron to PG. then he will dominate the other teams point guard because of his size advantage...... ...... i've done it before and at first i thought i was an idiot for moving lebron to the point because his ppg went down.... but then he started getting triple-doubles in every game..... when he goes inside the guard that is on him will follow him... he gets an easy rebound every time.... sorry for such a long response but im tryin to help u out.... good luck.

Thanks for the advice, buckslayer, but i want to keep Lamar Odom till he retires
or when i found a very good trade though...I already have Lebron on my SF spot and Fisher was a part of my 3:1 trade for James. Chris Paul was my present starting PG now. I want to have Gerald green in the future though.

Thanks for the time replying in my thread :D

Im now playing the season of my 4th year...however I think Im feeling something that all around my dynasty has been more difficult like the following.

I usually be in the top 3 of the first release of the power rankings but now im no 5 with 5-0 record and the 2-4 spot teams have some losses. Why is it like that?

Kobe bryant was my three time season MVP however when i look now in the list of candidates no one there was my player....I personally think that Im sharing the ball now more than the last seasons...

THERE IS NO CPU TRADES MADE!

Why is this happening....

In the month of december in my 4th year of lakers dynasty,
My Andrew Bynum's rating now is 68. On my first year he's just 59 ovrl.
Im just wondering...does his rating will reach 80 something or more than that.

Im training with only one asst coach until now in my 4th year, having problems clearing my cap space. so I think he will boost faster with more asst coaches in the future. Could someone tell me bout this? Thanks!

Thanks sir. will train him alot to be a dominating center...

I have another question sirs...if a team has an 80% bar on my player and his rating is on mid 60's... can i trade it for their 1st round draft pick?
Or even if its in full bar...will they gonna accept it?

Thanks for reading... :!:
