i have problems with editing/creating a player in the game

when i try to create or edit a player's face in the nba live '06 game, all it shows is a black player template no matter which template i click on. i am using a ncaa mod. might this be a problem with the mod or is it a problem in the game itself?

It isn't a known issue with the game out of the box, so you might want to try temporarily removing the NCAA Mod and seeing if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, then the fault must lie somewhere else.
