Draft Question

Postby Type-Style on Sun Jun 17, 2007 8:08 am

If its Scouting Time, the Scoutlist tells me that there are Players who have a good potential. But the first twenty are called limited.
What does it mean? And what is better? A Nr.1 Pick who is very limited or a Second Round pick that is called good or even better?

Do you now what i mean???

A player with limited potential is not likely to improve very much. As to which is better, given the talent level of most second round picks in NBA Live 06 you're probably better off with a number one pick who isn't likely to improve than a second rounder with decent potential. If it's between a couple of picks who projected to be around the same position (ie both are projected top five, top 15, late first round, early second round, late second round) then it's better to pick the player with the most potential; even if the other player is slightly better, chances are he'll soon be overtaken by the player with more potential for improvement.
