What's wrong with this frustrating dynasty

I can't seem to get past November 30 on the first year of my dynasty. I didn't edit the schedule at all. The only things i've edited are :

Players
Appearance
Teams
Teamgear
Location
Coaches
Staff

Even though you choose a player to focus on, the entire team is trained so everybody stands a chance of improving. On top of that, players like Kobe have less room for improvement compared to players such as Luke Walton.

i ve been tryin to work this out too, but yeh like andrew said, you get those random msgs about other players improving and not the one you want..

in the last couple of months on my dynasty, i found that during the last day of the month i get like 6 messages about player improvements (with 3 asst coaches). i ve been training eddy curry with no effect all month, but at the end of the month i get 3 messages about him..not exactly the improvements i wanted, but i was happy with any results anyway..
not sure if the last day of month had anything to do with the training results, but see if you get any messages then, im curious if my theory is actually right..


yeh, younger players usually have better chance of improvement, whilst older more established blokes like kobe wont improve dramatically cos they re already in their prime.
