If you have DBcommander, then:
- go to the save folder on your computer. It is in [my documents]
- open the players.dbf of the roster that has your created player on the left side
- search for your created player's name and copy the whole line(row) where his name is
- open the players.dbf of the roster that has the shoe patch on the right side
- go to the last line, then press the down arrow key on your keyboard. This will make a new empty row.
- paste what you copied on this row.
- change the player ID of your pasted player, to the next number that isn't taken.
- save and exit both files.
- Open appearance.dbf of both rosters on the left and right side, just like you did with the players.dbf
- search for the appearanceID of your created player in the previous roster.
- copy that row.
- in the new roster's appearance.dbf, go to the bottom and, once again, press the down arrow key to create an empty row.
- paste what you copied on this empty row.
- change the appearanceID to thesame number as that of your created player, when you pasted him in players.dbf
- You are done.

[EDIT] Well, not quite done. Make sure to change the teamid(in players.dbf) accordingly. If you want your player to be on the cavs, then make sure that there are not more than 12 players on the cavs already. If there are, then either remove one of the players you don't want by changing their teamid to that of free agents, or change your created player's teamid to that of the free agents. Now, I think you are done.
