Duplicate players in players.dbf

Sat Aug 26, 2006 6:29 pm

Hello. Im quite new to dbf editing and I have a question which i dunno if it has been asked or answered before. You see, Im using the Heat in a dynasty and I just noticed in my players.dbf file (saves folder/dynasty) that all my Heat players appear twice in the list, with 2 different player ID and team ID...example D-Wade, player ID# 2***, team ID #14 which I know are correct values.

But then if i click FIND NEXT, it will show me again another D-Wade with a player ID #40**, and Team ID# 40..same goes with other Heat players..I also noticed on the second search that all Heat Players are listed in the bottom together, at Team ID #40.

Is this normal? It's creating problems for me whenever I tried to edit dbf like primacy etc. I always have to edit twice for each player!

What can I do to correct this? Do I have to delete and which value? Thanks!

the dwayne wade with id# 2*** is the player from miami (team id# 14), while the other dwayne with id#40** is from an all-star team (team id# 40).

a ok :) thanks! (Y)

but then, why ALL Heat Players appear also in TeamID# 40? does it mean they're ALL All Stars?

or does it have something to do with the Heat being my controlled team?

aa whatever it is....

In a dynasty save players dbf your controlled team players are duplicated in the dbf.
