if u get fed up just goto teams.dbf and look for your team id.
now that u have your team id goto players.dbf and use the search tool to search for your team id in the cash_team column with dbcommander. just keep clicking find next and everytime you get it just change the number to a different team id so that way once you are done through the whole thing your team's salaries will be on dif teams. then if yuo are in your first season wait until the next season so some good players end up in the free agency, and get the best free agents possible. then trade them to teams with team space or you kno and if you cant because of the salary caps then lower their salaries.
hope this helps :p

You forgot the main thing, change the id's of players teams! If you only change cash_team, then you will pay the player that you wanted, and the other team will pay your player that you wanted to trade, but they will still play for the same teams.

no the whole point of changing the cash_team is to clear cap so you can sign costly free agents so that you have lots of good people to trade.
