How do i install patches???

Hey!

I really need to know how i install patches. I'm new to this and i have looked at every tutorial but i never know how to do it. Can anyone show
me how to instal patches into my game an easier way? THanks !

all you do is extract them into the sgsm folder in program files--->ea sports--->nba live 06--->SGSM

certain files like aiact will be put into their own respective files outside SGSM, but for cyberfaces.... big files... viv files. into the SGSM.

it usually says in the download where you should extract them

what if its WinZip?

Then open the file with WinZip and extract the files from there to the SGSM folder (or wherever it should go).

But when i press extract, i cant find the sgsm folder. Do any of u know where it is?

It wont work. can anyone tell me again wat i have to do?

And when i try to extract it to sgsm it says "error:access denied Cannot create C:/Program Files/EASPORTS/NBA LIVE 06/sgsm/install.exe."

i dunno wat ur trying to install, i dont see y u would have an install.exe. what are u trying to add to ur game?

NVM guys it worked. I didnt know it was gonna be in the load/save part. It worked but the players still look really ugly. Do i need to download cyberfaces for this? and if it is a rar file, how do i extrat tht? THANKS!

Im having a problem with the patch with the no player circle icon thing. I used winzip and i extracted it to the sgsm folder but the icon is still there. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks
