Save game statistics into *.txt file

Hello!

I would like to be able to save player statistics after games! Older NBAs offered this option, but 06 doesn't. I guess NBA stores this information somewhere and it shouldn't be hard to get it and save in *.txt file with simple program, but I have no idea where it is stored!!! Maybe someone has created this kind of program already? I would be very thankful for any solution or idea!

To get game stats, it must be from a recent game. So once that day is done, click it and bring up the box scores. Then there should be a button to save the stats there. You can also get player stats by viewing the player stats in the game in the stats menu (I think that's right), and clicking the save button. And when saving the files, they are put in the My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\('pstats' or 'box scores')\ folder.

I don't have the game installed anymore though, so some of the stuff might be a bit off...

i thought you were supposed to install something first and then be able to save.

there is not such button! There was Save button for stats in previous NBAs, but in 2006 there isn't!

you have to install a mod that will allow you to save them.

Hmm, could've sworn I didn't install such a patch and was still able to save stats. Oh well, as long as it works for you.. (y)

well actually that happened to me too.. but i know i installed it its just that when i re-installed the game i didnt have to additionally install the patch. so i think once you install the patch the first time it will always be there.

What the??? No way, I never installed such a patch and I'm still able to save stats. Or are you guys talking about single games?

I'm talking about game stats! Stats where we can see how may points, rebounds, steals etc. each player got in the game I just played!!!

yes!!!
once you are in the pause menu goto stats central, player stats, and at the bottom right there you go there is a save button!
who knew!

I don't know about the dynasty games, but I wanted to save stats after online games! Default NBA Live 2006 installation didn't offer me this option, but after i installed this patch, i can save my stats and problem is solved! Thank You jerry! :wink:
