Opening an installer

I was just wondering.... is there any programs that would open a installer so i can extract some files?
cause if i install the mod it will change so much in my game and has the risk of fucking up my game... i would wish just to to just take several faces and stuff. is that legal?

well i dont think its possible. if its just one exe file then its not possible. i also wish it was possible, some installers dont work and i would prefer to install the files by myself but it cant. and as for if its legal or not...i dont think its illegal...as long as you dont share the files once u extract them...Jing wrote:I was just wondering.... is there any programs that would open a installer so i can extract some files?

Instal it to a neutral folder, then just take the files you want out of that folder.

some installers dont allow you to exactly choose the destination, im trying to install that patch i cant remember what its called it installs the olympic country teams thing and i cant seem to choose the destination, and by itself it cant find the nba live 06 directory so i cant install it.
