Highflyer

Fri Jul 14, 2006 6:03 am

Hi guys, i just wanted your advice on my dynasty.
I'm playing with the pistons in my second season and i was dumb enoguh to let ben wallace go at the end of the last season. Now i bought some new centres but what i'm really missing is a good ShootingGuard, preferably a HighFlyer :).
My shootingguards are now: Mike Miller 75, Morris Peterson 73 and Keith Bogans 69. Suggest any trades ? Cap space is 3.75 Million..

My main lineup is like this:
C: D. Karpotsev
PF: R. Wallace
SF: R. Lewis
SG: M. Miller
PG: C. Billups

I don't really know, but I suggest you to take someone from the Hornets like, Smith or Snyder, or even put Mason to the SG....

Gerald Green is also a good highflyer

Think Prince left like B. Wallace as it was their final year and I didn't sign them back on :(

I prefer shooters over highflighers if I need a role player, and miller has a relatively low salary for a good shooter (Redd and Allen have like $12mil contracts). Also you have decently rated SG's at the moment so unless you are going to upgrade to a highfligher like VC or something, I don't think a trade is necessary.

desmond mason or J.r Smith both cheap salries

I actually just drafted Karpotsev myself (simulated dynasty), 8 games starting and he's only hit 11 field goals. He better get real good real fast.

Karpovtsev is more defensive minded, and if you play the games he's a lot better.'

I like your lineup as it is. but maybe trade Miller and Peterson for Jason Richardson, they might accept because of the stupid computer AI.

Fantastic how random the generation of rookies is. As it is, i finished that season, he did pick up a bit. Ended up averaging 4.7 ppg in 39.9 minutes. I did try playing with him, and he had more range than i expected. He probably prefers playing for me than Byron Scott.

Agreed, get Jrich. He can hit the 3 and he's a high flyer not to mention he is a defensive stopper after the first year.

Oh gawd you brought up a 2months old thread...

dsigns, there really wasn't a need to bump this up that far, for future reference. If he still needed advice, he would have bumped it on his own.
