use Houston, he'll be good coming off the bench. Keep Penny because he expires very quickly. If you just let them expire I bet you'll be suprised who you'll be able to sign.

I'm guessing you're not using a roster update if you've got Tim Thomas on the roster. Thomas and Hardaway's contracts expire at the end of the first year so you could keep them and let them come off the books during your first offseason. Alternatively, you could trade them to a team with a lot of cap space in exchange for a player with a small contract if you wanted to try and clear cap space before the season is over.

Trading for picks is historically difficult in NBA Live. The other team needs to have interest in trading picks (ie interest in your pick) as well as the players you're offering. You generally need to give up a starter quality player when you trade for picks.

wow hmm i see... now i understand y it's harder to build a team in this game than in others but it's fun trying to build a franchise with hard circumstances. For free agency since i got let's see apprently no center should i keep frye as a starter or go for a big name in the free agent market?

Unless you can clear cap space, you're probably not going to acquire anyone of real value in the offseason. You'd be better off keeping Frye and/or Curry.
