Fantasy Draft Crash

I'm having a fantasy draft crash problem. Every time i get past about the fifth pick, the game crashes, i get the feeling that it has to do with a particular player rated in the low 70's. I also crash whenever i load to play a previous dynasty.

I figured it was from the .dbf editing i did to Andrew's latest roster, so I redownloaded and I get the problem still. It doesnt occur when I dont do a draft and go straight into the teams though. Any ideas?

completely uninstall, reinstall, apply andrew's roster.

I'll have to think about if losing all the patches i've applied is worth it.
